Photos from the Day of the Shoot

The day of the shoot when we were all in class: We practiced using the camera and getting the angles that we needed around the classroom just so that we were confident when we got on location so we could shoot as efficently as possible.
Learning how to use the camera and checking out different angles - this enabled us how to set the camera up to get high/low angles, for example how high/low to set the camera to get the shot at the distance we wanted it.

On Location inside the chapel - the chapel was very dark and we had to use an artifical light, but when filming it created an amazing atmosphere allowing Josie to have a shadow around her which gave her a suspicious era about her.

This was the arifical light that we had which created the effect that we wanted it too. It also gave the pieces of woodwork in the chapel a shadow which made them look even more scary than the did. As we filmed at night the whole feel of the chapel was scary and even when we were filming we were getting a bit freak out at some of the noises we were hearing.
Our candles outside the chapel - we had candles in the walkway so that it gave us a bit of light. It also enabled us to get an eery vibe around the scene and made it look even more creepy.

Josie in her costume - we had her dressed in a hospital grown with little white socks - not shown in this picture. Which made her look young and innocent. The gown was too big for her which made her look very fragile and in the darkness very pale. The whole feel of the setting really came together when we were fliming and I think it came across well in our footage.

In this photo you can see the candles on the floor and Josie standing in front of the light - you can see the effect that it gave her body which stayed with her throughout the footage. We all took turns in filming Josie and were able to learn as we were shooting from each other and get some really good shots.
